OUR HISTORY
Michael Duke founded Duke Homes in 1986 out of his love for homebuilding and making people’s dreams come true. His business flourished, quickly becoming one of the top residential building companies in the Central Indiana area. Duke Homes is known for crafting one-of-a-kind custom homes and country estates that add beauty and value to communities throughout Central Indiana. With the company motto, “Many promise. We deliver,” Mike Duke and his team have been able to deliver amazing results to both homeowners and commercial clients, alike.
In 1989, Michael Duke founded Duke Commercial so that he could expand the ways he worked to improve and develop Central Indiana. Like Duke Homes, Duke Commercial grew exponentially, with the team completing a number of high-profile commercial projects and multifamily housing developments.

OUR TEAM
Mike Duke - President, Owner
Mike attended Indiana University where he received his B.S. in Business, majoring in finance and real estate. Mike resides in Bargersville, Indiana and is married to Marcia Duke. They have 4 children and 13 grand children. Mike and Marcia are member’s of Emmanuel Church of Greenwood. His interests include spending time with his family, spending time on his family’s farm and being involved in the community.
Matt Harrison - Vice President, Owner
Matt Harrison joined Duke Homes, Inc. in 2013 as the Construction Manager for all commercial construction projects. Matt graduated from IUPUI with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management in 2008. Matt has 12 years of commercial construction experience woking in a variety of markets including Healthcare, Industrial, Institutional and Multi Family.
Kevin Hamilton - Project Manager
Kevin Hamilton joined the Duke team in 2016 as a Residential Project Manager. Kevin has worked in the construction industry for over 37 years. He received an associate degree in architectural drawing from Vincennes University and graduated from Indian Creek High School.
Kevin has 4 children and resides in Morgantown, Indiana. Besides spending time with his family, his interests include basketball, racing and coaching.
Nick Dorman- Assistant Project Manager
Nick joined Duke Commercial in 2023 as an Assistant Project Manager with 15 years of experience in residential and commercial building management. He grew up in and graduated from high school in Chattanooga, TN in 2008. Nick went on to serve in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division Artillery from 2009 -2012. Nick now lives in Southport with his wife, Kristi, and dog Sammy.
Nick’s hobbies include traveling with his wife, watching sports while grilling or smoking, and playing wiffle ball with family.
Regina Salas - Architectural Designer
Regina has been with the Duke team since 2013, but has worked in various capacities as a designer and architectural project manager for various Duke Homes’ projects since 2002. Regina provides both design and architectural documentation for the residential and commercial projects. Regina attained her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Ball State University. She is currently a registered interior designer as well as member of IDP/NCARB.
Kristi Dorman- Architectural Designer
Kristi received her Master's of Architecture in 2016 from Ball State University and has several years of experience working on higher education and residential design projects. Kristi is passionate about collaborating with clients to establish a project vision that she can translate into reality.
Kristi loves to travel in her free time, and when she is not planning her next trip, she enjoys watching sports with her husband, dog, family, and friends.
